It was a memorable day for the friends of the HTG. The large and stately hall was filled to capacity, and equal or more number of people was thronging outside. They belonged to all strata of the society, from the ordinary man on the street to the very special and important ones. They all had one thing in common, love for Habitat Technology Group, and its philosophy. It was a gratifying moment for everyone associated with Habitat.

The Minister for Information and Parliamentary Affairs, Sri.M.M.Hassan, inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. In his inaugural speech, the minister lauded Habitat’s outstanding achievements in providing cost-effective shelter solutions for the common man. The impressive guest list included Sri.M.K.Muneer, the Minister of Works; Prof.J.Chandra, the Mayor of Thiruvananthapuram, film maker Sri.Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Sri.M.A.Baby, and the social activist Smt.Ruth Manorama from Andhra Pradesh. The function concluded with a scintillating magic show and ‘Ganamela’.
